Description:	Adjukine is a generic name for a new generation of potent adjuvants designed to allow a better control over the immune response in mammals upon immunization. The immune response against antigens initiates and evolves amid a complex, yet highly regulated sequence of events. This is only possible by a well coordinated interaction among different cell types via synthesis and secretion of a wide range of cytokines, inflammatory molecules and through cell-cell contact. The outcome of the immune response varies depending on factors including type, form, quantity and route of the administration of the antigen. Adjukine B is an adjuvant formulation designed to facilitate an antigen specific immune response, by recreating, at the site of immunization, the optimal conditions for the immune-competent cells to coordinate a potent B cell response, leading to a strong production of high affinity antibodies. Adjukine B is particularly useful to break immunotolerance against autoantigens or highly conserved proteins. It is also strongly recommended when using low immunogenic antigens such as peptides.
Biol. activity:	Stimulates strong antibody response upon antigen challenge.
Applications:	Boost of immune response upon antigen challenge, antibody production. 500 µl per rabbit is recommended.
Form:	Lyophilised
Reconstitution:	Reconstitute/dilute by adding 1000 µl of sterile PBS and gently mix. Avoid foam formation.
Storage:	Keep at -20ºC until use. The reconstituted Adjukine B may be kept at -20ºC.

Adjukine B Administration. (1) Immunise the animal with your immunogen as you normally do (A). (2) Using an insulin syringe, inject 500 µl of the reconstituted Adjukine B in at least three different places around one of the injection sites (B). It is recommended that Adjukine B be injected together with the first injection using FCA (Freund's Complete Adjuvant). Do not include Adjukine B in the antigen emulsion.
