| Antigen: |
Partial recombinant protein of human catenin delta-2 (amino acids 1081 to 1190) with a GST tag. |
| Other Names: |
Delta-catenin, Neural plakophilin-related ARM-repeat protein, NPRAP, Neurojungin, GT24, GENE NAME: CTNND2 |
| Accession: |
CTND2_HUMAN |
| Description: |
Catenin delta-2 functions as a transcriptional activator when bound to ZBTB33. It may also be involved in neuronal cell adhesion and tissue morphogenesis and integrity by regulating adhesion molecules. It is predominantly expressed in the brain and localises to the nucleus and cell junction. The unprocessed precursor has a length of 1225 amino acids and a predicted molecular weight of 132.7KDa. This protein is O-glycosylated. It is also phosporylated upon DNA damage. It belongs to the beta-catenin family and contains nine ARM repeats. |

| Purity: |
Protein G purified immunoglobulin |
| Applications: |
This antibody is recommended for WB and IHC. |
| Specificity: |
The specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by WB and ELISA against the antigen. |
| Cross-reactivity: |
This antibody cross-reacts with mouse and rat. |
| Blast it: |
If you would like to see the shared identity between different species or other proteins, follow the link in the Accession field, select the sequence (make sure that you are selecting the sequence that you are interested in, as the sequence may be the precursor rather than the mature protein for example) and copy and paste it HERE and blast/format it. |
| Form: |
Lyophilised mouse IgG in phosphate buffered saline, pH7. |
| Reconstitution: |
Reconstitute in 100 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. |
| Storage: |
After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20°C for higher stability or at 4°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles. |
