Partial recombinant protein of human DRP-3 (amino acids 457 to 556) with a GST tag. |
| Other Names: |
Dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 3, unc-33-like phoshoprotein, ULIP protein, collapsin response mediator protein 4, CRMP-4, GENE NAME: DPSYL3, CRMP4, DRP3, ULIP |
| Accession: |
DPYL3_HUMAN |
| Description: |
DRP-3 belongs to the hydantoinase/dihydropyrimidase subfamily. It is required for signalling by class 3 semaphorins and remodelling of the cytoskeleton. It also plays a role in axon guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse and cell migration. It exists as a homotetramer, and heterotetramer with CRMP1, DPYSL2, DPYSL4 or DPYSL5. The unprocessed precursor is 570 amino acids long and has an estimated molecular weight of 61.9kDa. It is mainly expressed in heart and skeletal muscle but is also strongly expressed in fetal brain and spinal cord. It localises to the cytoplasm and growth cone. This protein interacts with synaptic vesicle protein 2 and SH3A domain of intersectin. |

| Purity: |
Protein G purified immunoglobulin |
| Applications: |
This antibody is recommended for WB and direct ELISA. |
| Specificity: |
The specificity of this antibody has been shown by WB and ELISA against the GST tagged recombinant DRP-3 protein. |
| Cross-react: |
This antibody cross reacts with mouse and rat DRP-3 protein. |
| Blast it: |
If you would like to see the shared identity between different species or other proteins, follow the link in the Accession field, select the sequence (make sure that you are selecting the sequence that you are interested in, as the sequence may be the precursor rather than the mature protein for example) and copy and paste it HERE and blast/format it. |
| Form: |
Lyophilised rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline, pH7.2 |
| Reconstitution: |
Reconstitute in 100 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. |
| Storage: |
After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20°C for higher stability or at 4°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles. |
