Rabbit antibody to APG9 L2 (APG9L2): whole serum

$190.00USD

Catalogue No.: R-144-100
Batch No.: See product label
Unit size: 100 µl
Antigen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal of human APG9 L2 protein has been used as the immunogen. The sequence is homologous with mouse and rat form of APG9 L2.
Other Names: Autophagy-related protein 9B, APG9-like 2, nitric oxide synthase 3-overlapping antisense gene protein, Protein sONE, GENE NAME: ATG9B, APG9L2, NOS3AS
Accession: Q674R7_HUMAN
Q6EBV9_MOUSE
XP_575327_Rat
Description: APG9L2 plays a role in autophagy. It is highly expressed in placenta and pituitary gland and it localises to cytoplasmic vesicles, autophagosome membrane. There are 3 named isoforms produced by  alternative splicing. The ATG9B gene is located on the opposite DNA strand of the NOS3 gene and the mRNAs encoding ATG9B and NOS3 are complementary for 662 nucleotides. ATG9B transcription may play a role in NOS3 transcription regulation.
Produced in: NZ white rabbit
Purity: Whole serum
Applications: IHC, immunofluorescence, WB. A dilution of 1:100 to 1:1000 dilution is recommended for these applications. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Specificity: IHC & WB confirmed the specificity for APG9-L2.
Cross-react: Human, rat. Other species not yet tested.
Form: Lyophilised
Reconstitution: Reconstitute in 100 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Storage: After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20ºC for a higher stability, and at 4ºC with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
Expiry Date: Six months after purchase

Observation:
- This antibody seems to be very specific. It stain granular structures in some cells. Many of the cells seem to be negative.
