    Product Info

  • Product Name Fibroblast growth factor 1 (FGF-1), Human, ELISA assay
  • Product Description google The Human FGF1 ELISA is a solid phase immunoassay specifically designed to measure Human FGF1. The capture antibody is a mouse monoclonal FGF1 antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Human test samples and standards of known FGF1 concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound FGF1 antibody. A biotinylated FGF1 goat polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a coloured reaction product. The intensity of this coloured product is directly proportional to the concentration of FGF1 present in the samples. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of human FGF1 in samples such as culture supernatant, cell lysates, serum, plasma (Heparin) and plasma (EDTA). This kit has been configured for research use only and is not to be used in diagnostic or clinical procedures
  • Alternative Names Fibroblast growth factor 1; Acidic fibroblast growth factor; Endothelial cell growth factor; Heparin-binding growth factor 1; FGF-1; aFGF; ECGF; HBGF-1;
  • Application(s) ELISA
  • Specificity Human FGF1
  • Species Reactivity Human
  • Immunogen Description The standard and immunogen for this kit is recombinant Human FGF1 produced in E.coli cells; Immunogen sequence: A2-D155.
  • Range 31.2 pg/mL - 2,000 pg/mL
  • Sensitivity < 10 pg/mL
  • Regulatory Status For research use only.
