    Product Info

  • Product Name P-Cadherin, Human, ELISA assay
  • Product Description google The human P-Cadherin Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a polyclonal human P-Cadherin antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Human test samples and standards of known P-Cadherin concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound P-Cadherin antibody. A biotinylated human P-Cadherin polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a coloured reaction product. The intensity of this coloured product is directly proportional to the concentration of P-Cadherin present in the samples. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of human P-Cadherin in samples such as culture supernatant and serum. This kit has been configured for research use only and is not to be used in diagnostic or clinical procedures.
  • Alternative Names CDH; N-cadherin; Neural Cadherin; Cadherin-2;
  • Application(s) ELISA
  • Specificity Human P-Cadherin
  • Species Reactivity Human
  • Immunogen Description Cadherins are transmembrane glycoproteins that mediate calcium ion-dependent cell adhesion. The cadherin family includes N-, P-, R-, B- and E-cadherins which are found in adherens junctions.
  • Range 62.5 pg/mL - 4,000 pg/mL
  • Sensitivity < 2 pg/mL
  • Regulatory Status For research use only.
