Mouse monoclonal antibody to human CD97 antigen [5D5]: IgG

$327.00USD

Catalogue No. M-811-100
Description CD97 antigen is a receptor involved in both adhesion and signaling processes early after leukocyte activation. It also plays an essential role in leukocyte migration. The unprocessed precursor is 853 amino acids long and has a predicted molecular weight of 91.9KDa. CD97 antigen is a heterodimer consisting of a large extracellular alpha subunit and a seven-transmembrane beta subunit that are non-covalently linked. It contains five EGF-like domains and one GPS domain. This protein interacts with complement decay-accelerating factor (DAF) through the first two EGF domains, and with chondroitin sulfate (only isoform 1) through the fourth EGF domain. CD97 antigen is broadly expressed and it is present on most hematopoietic cells. It is also abundantly expressed by smooth muscle cells. Expression of this protein is increased under inflammatory conditions in the CNS of multiple sclerosis and in synovial tissue of patients of rheumatoid arthritis. This protein is rapidly up-regulated during lymphocyte activation. C97 antigen belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 fmaily and the LN-TM7 subfamily.
Batch No. See product label
Unit size 100 ug
Antigen Partial recombinant protein of human CD97 antigen (amino acids 421 to 529) with a GST tag.
Clone 5D5
Other Names Leukocyte antigen CD97
Accession CD97_HUMAN
Produced in Mouse
Purity Protein G purified immunoglobulin
Applications WB, direct and sandwich ELISA are recommended for this antibody. In sandwich ELISA this antibody has a detection limit of 0.1 ng/mL for recombinant GST tagged CD97 antigen. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Specificity Specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by WB and ELISA against the partial recombinant, GST tagged, human CD97 antigen.
Cross-reactivity Human. Other species have not yet been tested.
Blast it If you would like to see the shared identity between different species or other proteins, follow the link in the Accession field, select the sequence (make sure that you are selecting the sequence that you are interested in, as the sequence may be the precursor rather than the mature protein for example) and copy and paste it HERE and blast/format it.
Form Lyophilised from PBS pH 7.2
Reconstitution Reconstitute in 100 uL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Storage After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20C for higher stability or at 2-8C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
Expiry Date 12 months after purchase
