Description |
Cardiac Fatty Acid Binding Protein (FABP3) is thought to have a role in the intracellular transport of long-chain fatty acids and their acyl-CoA esters (Ref: SWISSPROT). |

Unit size |
100 ug |
Antigen |
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a region (119-133 aa) from the C-terminus of human Cardiac Fatty Acid Binding Protein (FABP3). |
Antigen Location |
119-133 |
Other Names |
Fatty acid-binding protein; heart; Fatty acid-binding protein 3; Heart-type fatty acid-binding protein; H-FABP; Mammary-derived growth inhibitor; MDGI; Muscle fatty acid-binding protein; M-FABP; FABP3; FABP11; MDGI; |
Accession |
P05413 FABPH_HUMAN; |
Produced in |
Rabbit |
Applications |
Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). A concentration of 1.0 ug/mL is recommended for WB. Human FABP3 (precursor) has a predicted length of 133 amino acids and MW of 15 kDa. A concentration of 1.0 ug/mL is recommended for IHC to detect the protein in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required. A concentration of 1.0 ug/mL is also recommended for IHC in frozen tissue. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
Specificity |
The specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by WB and IHC against the antigen. |
