Description |
Heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) is a highly conserved and ubiquitously expressed molecular chaperone. HSP90 plays important roles in folding newly synthesized proteins and stabilizing and refolding denatured proteins after stress. Two forms of HSP90, alpha and beta, are encoded by seperate genes. |

Applications |
Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). A concentration of 1.0 ug/mL is recommended for WB. Human HSP90 (alpha isoform 1) has a predicted length of 732 amino acids and MW of 85 kDa. A concentration of 1.0 ug/mL is recommended for IHC to detect the protein in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
Specificity |
The specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by WB and IHC against the antigen. |
