    Images, Protocols & SDS

  • Image of a rat frontal cortex by Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. The section was stained with M-2114-50, Neurofilament light polypeptide (NF-L), Clone 6H112, Mouse mAb, (green, 1:2000), and co-stained with product R-3771-100, FOX3/NeuN, Rabbit pAb, (red, 1:2,000). Method: Following transcardial perfusion of rat with 4% paraformaldehyde, brain was post-fixed for 24 hours, cut into 45 µm sections, and free-floating sections were stained. The NF-L antibody labels cell bodies and processes of pyramidal neurons, dendrites, and axons of other neuronal cells. The FOX3/NeuN antibody selectively stains nuclei and cytoplasm of neuronal cells.

  • Analysis by western blot of NF-L expression in spinal cord lysates from different species with M-2114-50, Neurofilament light polypeptide (NF-L), Clone 6H112, Mouse mAb, (green, 1:5,000) with strong banding at 68-70kDa corresponding to the NF-L protein. Lane 1: protein standard (red); Lane 2: rat; Lane 3: mouse; Lane 4: pig; Lane 5: cow.
