SpecificityThe specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by WB and IHC against the antigen. Follicular and diffuse large B cell lymphoma tumours were used to test specificity. Also the lymphoid organs and cytoplasm of mammary gland cells from normal tissues were used to test the specificity of this antibody in human tissue. Human
Species ReactivityHuman
Immunogen DescriptionRecombinant full-length human Bcl-10. This antibody reacts with the epitope within the region 122-168 from human Bcl 10.
Application DetailsImmunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western Blotting (WB). A concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/mL is recommended for WB. Human Bcl-10 has a predicted length of 233 aa and MW of 26 kDa. A concentration of 2.0-4.0 µg/mL is recommended to detect Bcl-10 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Antigen retrieval may improve the staining. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Scientific BackgroundBcl-10 is a 26 kDa (233 aa) protein expressed in many human and murine tissues. It contains an N-terminal caspase recruiting domain and is involved in the activation of caspase9 to induce apoptosis.
