- Application Details Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western Blotting (WB). A concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL is recommended for WB. Rat MAP2 (Isoform MAP2x) has a predicted length of 1,861 residues and MW of 202 kDa. A concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/mL is recommended to detect MAP2 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues as well as formalin/acetone fixed frozen tissues. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
