    Images, Protocols & SDS

  • Image of a rat cerebellum section by Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. The section was stained with R-2113-50, Neurofilament light polypeptide, C-terminus, (NF-L-Ct), Rabbit pAb, (red, 1:5,000), and co-stained with product M-2106-100, Beta-Synuclein, Clone 6A10, Mouse mAb, (green, 1:5,000), and Hoechst staining of nuclear DNA (blue). Method: Following transcardial perfusion of rat with 4% paraformaldehyde brain was fixed for 24 hours, cut to 45 uM, and free-floating sections were stained with antibodies. Product R-2113-50 labels dendrites and axons of the neuronal cells whilst product M-2106-100 detects protein that is concentrated in the synaptic regions.

  • Analysis by western blot of NF-L expression in different rat and mouse tissue homogenates with R-2113-50, Neurofilament light polypeptide, C-terminus, (NF-L-Ct), Rabbit pAb, (green, 1:20,000) with strong banding at 68-70kDa corresponding to the NF-L protein. Lane 1: molecular weight marker; Lane 2: rat brain; Lane 3: rat spinal cord; Lane 4: mouse brain; Lane 5: mouse spinal cord.
