    Product Info

  • Product Name Interleukin-12 subunit beta (IL-12B), Human, ELISA assay
  • Product Description google The human Interleukin 12 (p40) kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a monoclonal human IL-12(p40) antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Human test samples and standards of known IL-12(p40) concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound IL-12(p40) antibody. A biotinylated human IL-12(p40) polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a coloured reaction product. The intensity of this coloured product is directly proportional to the concentration of IL-12(p40) present in the samples. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of human IL-12(p40) in samples such as culture supernatant and serum. This kit has been configured for research use only and is not to be used in diagnostic or clinical procedures.
  • Alternative Names IL-12; IL12; Interleukin-12; Interleukin-12 subunit beta; IL-12B; Cytotoxic lymphocyte maturation factor 40 kDa subunit; CLMF p40; IL-12 subunit p40;NK cell stimulatory factor chain 2; NKSF2; IL12B; NKSF2;
  • Application(s) ELISA
  • Specificity Human IL-12(p40)
  • Species Reactivity Human
  • Immunogen Description The standard and immunogen in this assays is produced in and purified from an insect expression system consisting of amino acids I23-S328
  • Range 31.2 pg/mL - 2,000 pg/mL
  • Sensitivity < 2 pg/mL
  • Regulatory Status For research use only.
