    Product Info

  • Product Name Interleukin-17A (IL-17A), Mouse, ELISA assay
  • Product Description google The mouse Interleukin 17 (IL-17) Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a monoclonal mouse IL-17 antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Mouse test samples and standards of known IL-17 concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound IL-17 antibody. A biotinylated mouse IL-17 polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a coloured reaction product. The intensity of this coloured product is directly proportional to the concentration of IL-17 present in the samples. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-17A in culture supernatant, cell lysates, serum, plasma (Heparin) and plasma (EDTA) samples only when used as directed. For research use only, not for clinical or diagnostic use.
  • Alternative Names Interleukin-17; IL-17; IL17; Interleukin-17A; IL-17A; Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 8; CTLA-8; Il17a; Ctla8; Il17;
  • Application(s) ELISA
  • Specificity Mouse IL-17A/IL-17
  • Species Reactivity Mouse
  • Immunogen Description The standard product used in this kit is recombinant mouse IL-17A, consisting amino acids 22-158 expressed in and purified from an E. coli expression system.
  • Range 15.6 pg/mL - 1,000 pg/mL
  • Sensitivity < 1 pg/mL
  • Regulatory Status For research use only.
