    Product Info

  • Product Name Osteopontin, Human, ELISA assay
  • Product Description google The human Osteopontin (OPN) Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a monoclonal anti-human OPN antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Human test samples and standards of known OPN concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound OPN antibody. A biotinylated human OPN polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a coloured reaction product. The intensity of this coloured product is directly proportional to the concentration of OPN present in the samples. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of human OPN in samples such as culture supernatant, serum, plasma (Heparin), plasma (EDTA), human milk and urine. This kit has been configured for research use only and is not to be used in diagnostic or clinical procedures.
  • Alternative Names Bone sialoprotein 1; Nephropontin; Secreted phosphoprotein 1; SPP-1; Urinary stone protein; Uropontin; SPP1; BNSP; OPN;
  • Application(s) ELISA
  • Specificity Human OPN
  • Species Reactivity Human
  • Immunogen Description The standard and immunogen in this assays is produced in and purified from a mammalian expression system consisting of amino acids I17-N300
  • Range 156 pg/mL - 10,000 pg/mL
  • Sensitivity < 10 pg/mL
  • Regulatory Status For research use only.
