    Product Info

  • Product Name Urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA), Human, ELISA assay
  • Product Description google The human Urokinase-type Plasminogen Activator (uPA) Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a polyclonal human uPA antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Human test samples and standards of known uPA concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound uPA antibody. A biotinylated human uPA polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a coloured reaction product. The intensity of this coloured product is directly proportional to the concentration of uPA present in the samples. The purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of human uPA in samples such as culture supernatant, serum, cell lysates, plasma (Heparin) and plasma (EDTA). This kit has been configured for research use only and is not to be used in diagnostic or clinical procedures.
  • Alternative Names U-plasminogen activator; uPA; PLAU;
  • Application(s) ELISA
  • Specificity Human Urokinase-type Plasminogen Activator (uPA)
  • Species Reactivity Human
  • Immunogen Description The standard and immunogen in this assays is produced in and purified from a mammalian expression system consisting of amino acids M1-L431
  • Range 62.5 pg/mL - 4,000 pg/mL
  • Sensitivity < 5 pg/mL
  • Regulatory Status For research use only.
