SpecificityThe specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by WB and IHC against the antigen. Human; rat; expected to react with mouse due to sequence homology
Species ReactivityHuman, Mouse (Predicted), Rat
Immunogen DescriptionA synthetic peptide (RAVRFNVDGNYCLTC) corresponding to amino acids 29-43 from the N-terminus of human Morg1.
ConjugateUnconjugated
Purity DescriptionAffinity purified on antigen column
Application DetailsImmunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western Blotting (WB). A concentration of 0.1-0.5 µg/mL is recommended for WB. Human Morg1 has a predicted length of 315 residues and MW of 34 kDa. A concentration of 0.5-1.0 µg/mL is recommended to detect Morg1 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Reconstitution InstructionsSpin vial briefly before opening. Reconstitute in 100 µL sterile-filtered, ultrapure water to achieve an antibody concentration of 1 µg/µL. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Storage InstructionsAt least 12 months after purchase at 2-8°C (lyophilized formulations). After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C for a higher stability. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Batch NumberPlease see item label.
Expiration Date12 months after date of receipt (unopened vial).
Scientific BackgroundMitogen-activated protein kinase organiser 1 (Morg1) is a scaffold protein for various multimeric complexes. It stabilises the assembly of several important components of the ERK pathway including Raf-1 and MEK into an oligomeric complex.
